Bathers sit on the platform and the bath is then lifted up and immersed in a relaxing bath. The bath and the bather can then be raised to a comfortable working height for the carer. On completion of bathing, the bather does not have to wait for the water to drain before leaving the bath. The bath compartment simply sinks back down, leaving the bather free to be dried on the platform as the water drains away. The Pisces high low bath is also suitable for use with ceiling hoists where bathers need specialised assistance during transfer.
